Queen Elizabeth I oak, Cowdray estate 2022. 60 x 42cm, acrylic on canvas. £350. This tree is more than 1000 years old and Queen Elizabeth I is supposed to have rested in its shade while out hunting on the estate.

With the Ancients, Sue Webber, 2022. Kingley Vale, West Sussex. Acrylic on canvas, 80 x 30 cm. This painting has been selected for the South Downs Open exhibition in Petersfield, 22 October 2024 to 1 February 2025 and is for sale from the exhibition. Some of the oldest yew trees in Britain, Kingley Vale is a magical place to visit.
